Please join us (weather permitting) for a special outdoor Shabbat Service at Temple Am Shalom on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 7 PM.  Please RSVP by calling the Temple office at 440.255.1544 with the number attending so we can have sufficient individual servings for the oneg!

Is this legal? Even though we are hoping for more than 10 people, we are exempt from the rule limiting size of gatherings as a religious group.

Is it safe? Our plan is to meet behind the Temple so please park in front.  If you will please bring your own lawn chair for the service, although we can supply one if you need it.

We will be keeping safe social distances.  Sorry no hugs this night. Masks are encouraged.

We will print our own prayer book for the service, so we will not have to sanitize prayerbooks afterwards.  You will be able to keep the special books.

A sound system will be set up so you can hear Renee.

Will we have an Oneg?  A Special Oneg Shabbat will be held after services.  We will remain outside and all food will be bagged by sanitized hands.  Sorry, No Wine, but we will have grape juice.

Forecast as of 5/27 is for 100% Rain on Friday, May 28, 2020 we are rescheduling to the rain Date: June 5, 2020.  This post will be updated about the event should there be any hint of inclement weather. Should we need to postpone or reschedule. Stay tuned to the Temple website for any updates.
